I’m Alexa, your motherhood + family photographer with a passion for capturing the connection your family has. I have a husband that supports my crazy ambitions and two boys that keep me on my toes. 

I started this motherhood journey earlier than most, graduating with a degree in hand and baby on my hip- literally.  I never knew how important it was to document motherhood until 2022.  

2022 my world changed in the most unimaginable ways.  Loss has a way of doing that.  It isn’t until loss that you realize the power of a photo.  Our photos hold stories.  Stories that we tell our children, who will then tell their children.  

It wasn’t until I lost my own mother, that I realized how important it is for mother’s to be in front of the camera, not just behind it.   I searched through piles of photos and yet, I had trouble finding pictures with her.  

We are our kids' personal paparazzi. If we scan our phones I’m sure we’ll find the photos I’m talking about.  We all have them.  We have pictures of the trip to disney.  Our kids are making some sassy faces.  Your spouse holding your child at a family cookout. Sure they may have good light, smiling faces, but I ask you– how many photos are you in?

We have pictures of our children, but do we have pictures for our children? Do you have pictures that are for you?
